Frequently Asked Questions

STARTUPS

HOW CAN I GET A TICKET FOR AN EVENT?

All of our events are “invite-only” due to the events aiming at building a strong sounding-board and high value network to the participating startups. Tickets are primarily given to partners and ambassadors. A limited amount of tickets will be available to the public and communicated via our newsletter shortly before the event. If you’d like to receive an invitation please contact us via email.

WHAT'S A TYPICAL AGENDA FOR THE EVENT?

We want to focus on the startups pitches and provide ample time for further networking and exchange of ideas. We’ll also invite people we believe have to share significant insights or great entrepreneurial stories that will enrich the events. You can expect 10 pitches and 3-4 presentations at a regional event. An industry event is different as its goal is to foster business engagement. A typical industry event covers an entire day. Partner companies send employees to not only listen to pitches, but to work intensively with the attending founders to uncover business synergy and leave the event with a clear vision of how to work together on an upcoming project.

AMBASSADORS

WHAT MAKES A GOOD BOX-AMBASSADOR?

A good ambassador for the regional competitions has a proven track record in the entrepreneurial scene such as a seasoned founder, member of the entrepreneurial media or play a part in funding startups such as a VC or business angel.
Besides your voting role you should be interested in welcoming the finalists into your professional network. The industry ambassadors are hand selected employees within our coporate network and typically in charge of strategic business decsions and/or innovation within their departments.

CAN AN AMBASSADOR PARTICIPATE IN MORE THAN ONE EVENTS?

That depends on the time you’re willing to invest not only in the voting process but in potentially giving feedback to the participating startups. As well as forming a professional relationship with the finalists of each location. Currently there are no limits to participating in multiple events.
